Seyoung Bang Triumphs at the 2023 Season 4 Best Classical Musicians Awards

We are elated to announce that Seyoung Bang has clinched the prestigious Grand Prize at the 2023 Season 4 Best Classical Musicians Awards.

Seyoung Bang made his debut as a soloist at the Munho Arthall in Seoul at the age of 15. He is a prize winner of the Korean competitions Musikjornal and Korea Musik. And he is 1 winner of the Gold International Classical Music. He plays an instrument from the French workshop Tosca that sounds brighter than you usually expect. Seyoung is a musician with heart and soul and puts his playing entirely at the service of compositions. He loves making music in the orchestra - currently in the North German Philharmonic Orchestra Rostock - as well as the interpretation of the most beautiful clarinet concertos as a soloist. Since 2019, Seyoung Bang has been studying at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre with Prof. Heiner Schindler and Prof. Thomas Widiger. He receives further suggestions from Sharon Kam as part of a master class. He is an academicist of the North German Philharmonic Rostock. With this ensemble, he most recently played the clarinet concert of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.
